Good afternoon church family,
I was so encouraged by the number of you that participated in our Church Online service last Sunday. It was fun to read your interactions during the service. I also enjoyed seeing your pics on fb. We plan to go live again this Sunday, at 10:00 am. One of our elders will lead us in a time of Communion, so have your juice and cracker on hand. For the offering, please mail your tithe to the church office, 1306 W. Grand Ave, Haysville, KS 67060.
For their safety, I have asked the office staff to work at home as much as possible. Starting Wednesday, the office and building will be closed. If you have any needs or questions you can call or text me directly on my cell (Pastor Kurt).
The congregational meeting that was scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed until we are physically back together.
The songs, skits, and dramas the kids were working on for Easter Sunday have been postponed for now. They will have the opportunity to bless us when we come back together.
I appreciate all of you staying connected as much as you can during this time.

I am considering the possibility of adding an “online” Wed night Bible study where I go through the assigned readings for that week. Please respond to this email if you would participate in the Wed Online Bible Study. I would plan to go live at 7:00 PM, beginning next Wednesday, April 1st. (I promise no April Fools Jokes!)

Our Elders and Staff want to thank each of you for your love, patience, and support during this time of dramatic change. We are an awesome congregation built on the rock-solid foundation of Jesus Christ. We are His Church, His body, and not even the gates of hell can prevail against us. We continue to pray for an end to this virus and for the time we can celebrate our return together.

Hebrews 4:15-16, “For we do not have a high priest who cannon sympathize with our weakness, but One who had been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore LET US DRAW NEAR with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Social distancing AND Spiritual Intimacy!
You are loved and covered in prayer,
Pastor Kurt Henson
