We have programs for every child. We value children and want to partner with God and parents to build a faith foundation for life.  Haysville Christian Church Children's Ministry is a teaching ministry. It is not merely a childcare or support program. The Children's Ministry is a cooperative effort between the church and home.  We believe that ministry is best accomplished in teams where mutual support is received from serving together in "community". Our goal is to see each class function as a "small group", where volunteers experience encouragement and growth.

Awanas is HCC’s exciting mid-week program for kid’s (preschool through fifth grade). Awanas meets Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 8:00 where the workers use hands-on curriculum to introduce the children to God and the life and teachings of His son, Jesus Christ. Preschoolers/Nursery meet in their own classroom where they discover new things about God through Bible stories, crafts, and play.
Through participation in Awanas the kids will connect their Christian faith with real life. They will praise God through music and explore the Bible through stories. The preschool through fifth grade kids rotate through different Discovery Centers. They may make and enjoy a tasty snack at the Snack Café, have a blast playing games at the Game Discovery Center, be amazed at the Surprise Station, and make crafts at Projects-With-a-Purpose. Awanas is where kids and fun come together.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is a ministry teaching young children 2 to 4 years of age Bible stories, activities related to the story and of course singing songs. They are served a small snack and then are allowed to play together.

Children’s Church is provided while parents attend worship services. Teachers and helpers serve on a rotating schedule serving every four weeks.

Jr. Worship is conducted during Sunday morning worship service. Children first meet in the sanctuary with their families and then are dismissed for Jr. Worship just before the sermon.

The purpose of the Jr. Worship ministry is to teach, train and equip our children ages kindergarten through 3rd grade to worship God and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be motivated to share what they learn about Jesus with others.

The Nursery Ministry provides childcare for children from birth through two years of age on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening activities. A safe, pleasant and loving environment for children is the priority of this ministry. Workers serve on a rotating schedule.

I think Spring is officially here. That means just a few short weeks until Summer and our camp sessions at PVCC. Paper registration forms are available, but we would love to encourage online registration for accuracy of information and less paper work. Online Registration will open April 1, 2017.
