Pastor Kurt – Senior Teaching Pastor

Pastor Kurt and his wife Nellene have been blessed with four beautiful children.  One of the things he loves the most about the ministry is helping people from various needs and backgrounds find their purpose and passion in Jesus.    He enjoys an active lifestyle including: trail running, hiking, camping, weights, guitar, and riding his Goldwing motorcycle.  He and his wife are both K-State Wildcats. For Pastor Kurt, the process of making coffee is an act of worship.  He is a passionate preacher gifted with the ability of making difficult theological concepts easy to understand.  You will often hear him quote Psalm 118:24, “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will……….?  Rejoice and be glad in it!”  His favorite saying, “I’m so full of God’s love it’s running around inside of me like a squirrel!”   He also “thinks” he is very funny.  Yes, he wrote this bio.
