We have programs for every child. We value children and want to partner with God and parents to build a faith foundation for life. Haysville Christian Church Children's Ministry is a teaching ministry. It is not merely a childcare or support program. The Children's Ministry is a cooperative effort between the church and home. We believe that ministry is best accomplished in teams where mutual support is received from serving together in "community". Our goal is to see each class function as a "small group", where servants experience encouragement and growth.
Children's Church (2-4 Years)
Children’s Church is a ministry teaching young children 2 to 4 years of age Bible stories, activities related to the story and of course singing songs. They are served a small snack and then are allowed to play together.
Children’s Church is provided while parents attend worship services. Teachers and helpers serve on a rotating schedule serving every four weeks.
Jr. Worship (K - 3rd Grade)
Jr. Worship is conducted during Sunday morning worship service. Children first meet in the sanctuary with their families and then are dismissed for Jr. Worship just before the sermon.
The purpose of the Jr. Worship ministry is to teach, train and equip our children ages kindergarten through 3rd grade to worship God and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be motivated to share what they learn about Jesus with others.
